U.S. President Donald Trump, together with other regional leaders, has signed the Gaza Peace Agreement during a summit held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, describing it as a “very significant signing.”
Trump thanked his staff and aides for achieving what he believed would be the “most difficult agreement to reach,” according to CNN.
“I thought this would be the hardest one, and in many ways, it probably was,” he said.
“We had an incredible range of talent, and we were helped, in particular, by the countries represented at this table,” Trump added.
