Vote Verification Concludes in Several Municipalities in Kosovo

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has completed the vote verification process for mayoral elections in several smaller municipalities, while in larger urban centers, the process is progressing more slowly.

In Junik, a runoff election is expected between Ruzhdi Shehu (LDK) and Agron Kuçi (AAK). Meanwhile, in Han i Elezit, Mehmet Ballazhi (PDK) secured 50.96% of the vote, defeating Rufki Suma.

In Novobërdë, Sasha Milloshević from the Serb List confirmed victory without a runoff. The same party also won decisively in Zubin Potok (70.95%), Zveçan, Ranillug, and Partesh.
In Mamushë, Abdulhadi Krasniç (KDTP) also won outright following the vote verification.

As of the latest update, verification and recount progress across major municipalities is as follows:

  • Gjakovë: 23.29%
  • Gllogoc: 34.25%
  • Gjilan: 26.32%
  • Dragash: 49.12%
  • Istog: 61.67%
  • Kaçanik: 22.73%
  • Klinë: 50%
  • Fushë Kosovë: 5.08%
  • Kamenicë: 43.14%
  • Mitrovicë e Jugut: 31.43%
  • Lipjan: 36.36%
  • Obiliq: 33.33%
  • Rahovec: 40.26%
  • Pejë: 17.14%
  • Podujevë: 18.58%
  • Skënderaj: 66.67%
  • Shtime: 75.76%
  • Suharekë: 42.53%
  • Ferizaj: 40.26%
  • Viti: 37.50%
  • Vushtrri: 38.14%
  • Malishevë: 18.92%

In Prishtina, only 9.33% of votes for mayor have been verified, while Prizren records the lowest progress at just 1.27%.

In Serb-majority municipalities, verification is moving faster: Leposaviq (64%), Shtërpcë (94.12%), Graçanicë (47.06%), Kllokot (34.79%), and Mitrovicë e Veriut (59.39%).
