Nearly 90% of Votes from Persons with Special Needs Counted in Kosovo, Vetëvendosje Leads

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo is approaching the completion of the vote count from the December 28 early parliamentary elections, focusing on ballots cast by persons with special needs.

As of 8:21 PM, 89.19% of votes from this voter group have been counted, according to the CEC.

Preliminary Results

From the counted votes:

  • Vetëvendosje leads with 477 votes (37.56%).
  • Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) follows with 323 votes (25.43%).
  • Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) holds third place with 150 votes (11.81%).

The vote count for persons with special needs is part of the final stage of Kosovo’s early parliamentary elections, and the results may slightly change as remaining ballots are verified.

The CEC has emphasized that the process is progressing transparently, with election observers monitoring the count to ensure accuracy and fairness.
