The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced that it is awaiting the completion of appeals regarding the administration and counting of votes at the Counting and Results Center, as well as the review of the legality and implementation of any decisions that may require intervention by the CEC.

CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi emphasized that the final results will only be announced after this process is completed.

He noted that the announcement of the final results does not conclude the election process.

Political parties and candidates have the right to appeal the results, first to the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP), and subsequently the case may reach the Supreme Court.

Elezi added that the CEC is obliged to await these decisions, implement them, and only then proceed with certifying the results.
