European Union Special Envoy Peter Sorensen said he held open and constructive discussions in Kosovo aimed at ensuring that 2026 delivers concrete and tangible results for the people of the country.

Sorensen shared details of his visit through a post on X, confirming that he met with President Vjosa Osmani, acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and leaders of political parties during his stay in Kosovo.

“I am happy to be back in Kosovo,” Sorensen wrote, adding that the meetings included valuable exchanges and open discussions on the next steps in the EU-facilitated dialogue, with a clear objective of bringing measurable progress for citizens in 2026.

“I had valuable meetings and open discussions on the next steps in the EU-facilitated dialogue to ensure that 2026 brings tangible results for the people of Kosovo,” Sorensen stated.
