The recounting of ballots continues at Kosovo’s Counting and Results Center, following a decision by the Central Election Commission (CEC) to re-examine votes from selected polling stations.

According to the latest update from the CEC, 44.66% of the ballots have been recounted so far.

Based on the recount results to date, Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) leads with 48% of the vote, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 23.84%, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 10.11%, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) with 2.99%.

The CEC also announced that the recounting process has been fully completed in nine municipalities, marking steady progress toward the final certification of election results.

The recount is being carried out to ensure transparency, accuracy, and public trust in the electoral process, amid heightened scrutiny of the vote-counting procedures.
