The European Union is reportedly preparing multiple approaches to include Ukraine in a potential peace agreement, according to Bloomberg.
Sources indicate that options under consideration include offering Kyiv pre-access to protections associated with EU membership, as well as immediate access to certain membership rights.
At the same time, the EU plans to provide Ukraine with a clear timeline of steps it must take to advance its official accession process.
Other options being discussed include continuing the existing membership pathway or implementing a transitional period with gradual integration, the sources said.
A European Commission representative told Bloomberg that Ukraine’s future EU membership is part of ongoing discussions related to the peace settlement.
