The Albanian diaspora in Oslo, Norway, launched the “Hour of Waiting” initiative today in support of former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi.
The activity will continue until September 16, when the verdict is expected to be announced in the judicial proceedings against the former KLA leaders, who are being held in The Hague.
The event was also attended by Ismail Tasholli, a representative of the “Freedom Has a Name” platform, who expressed his gratitude for the diaspora’s support for the liberation leaders.
Tasholli said that the voices of Albanians continue to be heard in different countries, calling for justice and for the liberation leaders to return home.
The “Hour of Waiting” in Oslo was organized by political representatives, community figures, activists, and members of the Albanian community in Norway.
