The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has rejected the invitation from Vetëvendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti for a meeting regarding the formation of new institutions.
AAK Chairman Ardian Gjini announced that the party’s official response had been sent to Kurti, emphasizing that the Alliance’s position remains unchanged from June 26.
In a public letter, Gjini said that the Alliance is ready to help provide the necessary quorum for the election of the president, provided that Kurti accepts the six points proposed by AAK.
“For the sake of transparency toward citizens, I am sharing with you the official response of the Alliance, which has just been sent to the Chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Mr. Albin Kurti. Our position remains the same as on June 26 — clear, principled, and fully public,” Gjini wrote.
