At least 10 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon today, according to the country’s National News Agency (NNA).

The agency reported that strikes near Deir Qanoun En Nahr in southern Lebanon killed at least six people, including two paramedics, despite a ceasefire being in effect, according to Sky News via Sinjali.

The victims were reportedly transporting injured people from an earlier strike, including a child. Earlier, four other paramedics were killed in an airstrike in the town of Hanaway, NNA reported.

The Israeli military maintains that it issues advance warnings before strikes in order to protect civilians, as it continues operations against the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia in Lebanon.
