Kosovo’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has officially awarded the contract for printing election ballots, candidate brochures, and voter lists for the upcoming 2026 snap parliamentary elections to a long-standing regional partner.

According to the official announcement, the contract went to “Cetis d.d.”, a prominent security and election printing specialist based in Slovenia.

The contract, which was processed through a negotiated procedure without publication of a contract notice, initially held an estimated value of €418,012. However, following discussions with the CEC, the Slovenian economic operator adjusted its financial offer, bringing the final cost down to a flattened €342,000.

Cetis d.d. was the sole bidder in the procurement process. The contract was formally awarded on May 14, 2026, and is scheduled to be officially signed today, May 18.
