State media in Lebanon report that Israeli fighter jets have struck several towns in the south of the country, causing multiple injuries.

The official news agency (NNA) stated that “enemy Israeli warplanes carried out dawn strikes on the towns of Bafliyeh and Hanine in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil areas,” adding that Israeli forces also targeted five other towns in southern Lebanon.

The United States reports that more than 7,000 targets have been hit in Iran, while military operations are increasingly expanding deeper into Iranian territory.

At the same time, the Pentagon has requested an additional $200 billion budget for the war, signaling a further escalation of the conflict.
