Kosovo Customs has taken part in the first meeting of the Project Group for Electronic Proof of Certificates (e-PoC), an initiative organized by the European Commission aimed at modernizing EUR1 certificates.

According to the announcement, the meeting represents an important step forward in advancing the e-PoC project for EUR1 formalities within the framework of the PEM Convention, addressing key issues related to legislative development, business process modeling, as well as strengthening administrative cooperation systems and electronic licensing at the EU level.

In this process, Kosovo Customs emphasized its active contribution by bringing consolidated expertise in process management and digitalization, in support of deepening regional and European cooperation in the customs sector.

“We look forward to continuing constructive discussions, particularly regarding the structuring of working subgroups, the division of responsibilities, and the future implementation of the project across participating administrations,” the statement said.

Kosovo Customs also expressed special appreciation to the European Commission and the Customs Program team for organizing and coordinating this important initiative.
