Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić met today with Gert Jan Koopman, the Director-General responsible for EU enlargement policy.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed Serbia’s European integration process, regional developments, and the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
According to Đurić, Serbia remains committed to continuing the EU-facilitated dialogue with Kosovo whenever what he described as “appropriate conditions” are established.
He also emphasized the importance of keeping the European Union’s enlargement policy among the key priorities of both EU institutions and member states, arguing that the enlargement process remains essential for stability and development in the Western Balkans.
The statement comes at a time when the normalization dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia remains largely stalled, with both sides continuing to disagree on the implementation of previously reached agreements and on the conditions necessary for further progress.
