Several border crossings in Kosovo experienced significant traffic congestion on Friday evening, with waiting times reaching up to 90 minutes at some of the country’s busiest checkpoints.
According to the latest update from the National Border Management Centre, the longest delays were recorded at the Dheu i Bardhë border crossing, where travelers entering Kosovo faced waits of up to 90 minutes, while those leaving the country waited approximately 70 minutes.
At the Muçibabë border crossing, exit queues also extended to around 90 minutes, with entry delays reaching up to one hour.
Meanwhile, traffic remained lighter at other crossings. At Hani i Elezit, both entry and exit procedures took approximately 20 minutes, while travelers entering Kosovo through Vërmicë experienced waiting times of up to 15 minutes.
Authorities continue to monitor traffic flows and advise travelers to check the latest border updates before beginning their journeys, particularly during the busy summer travel season.
