The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) has restored Unit A3 of the Kosovo A Thermal Power Plant to operation following the completion of technical repairs.
According to KEK, the unit was synchronized with the electricity grid in the early hours of the morning after identified technical problems were resolved.
The corporation said Unit A3 is now operating under stable conditions, crediting the work of its technical teams for addressing the faults and restoring normal operations.
KEK also expressed its appreciation to the staff involved in the repair work, highlighting their commitment and dedication throughout the intervention.
The return of Unit A3 to service restores the unit’s contribution to Kosovo’s electricity generation capacity.
