The Central Election Commission (CEC) stated that the election process in Kosovo is going smoothly, without any issues that could disrupt its progress.
Spokesperson Valmir Elezi addressed concerns raised by some media outlets regarding the ink used on voters’ fingers after voting, which reportedly fades quickly.
He emphasized that this is not the only security measure implemented by the CEC.
“All individuals who vote, after being identified with an official document from the Republic of Kosovo, sign next to their name after voting. This signature prevents a voter from voting again,” said Elezi.
