Today marks 27 years since the heroic death of Ilir Konushevci, an unyielding fighter who gave everything for the liberation of Kosovo.
As one of the founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in the Llap region and a key figure in logistics and arms supply, he was at the heart of the resistance organization. On May 9, 1998, Ilir was killed in an ambush while on a mission to deliver weapons to Kosovo, a mission he carried out with bravery and devotion.
