A serious incident occurred on Thursday evening in the village of Zlipotok, Dragash, where a sitting Member of the Kosovo Assembly, along with his wife and underage daughter, were physically assaulted and required medical assistance.
Sources from Sinjali report that on August 1, 2025, at around 6:10 PM, Adem Hoxha (approx. 57 years old), his wife N.H. (approx. 50 years old) and their 14-year-old daughter were involved in a physical altercation with the suspect S.K., a 61-year-old man.
The incident was initially reported by the Dragash Primary Health Care Center (QKMF), where the victims first sought medical help. After receiving initial treatment, they were transferred to the Regional Hospital in Prizren, where doctors classified their injuries as minor bodily harm.
The Dragash police station and regional investigation units have launched an immediate investigation, given the sensitivity and public significance of the case. According to sources, the motive for the attack remains unclear at this stage.
Following the prosecutor’s order, the suspect has been charged with “Minor Bodily Harm” and has been placed in 48-hour detention.
Investigations are ongoing, and judicial authorities are treating the case with high priority due to the involvement of a senior state official.
