Mayor of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci, has announced his support for the protest called by the KLA War Veterans Organization (OVL-UÇK), scheduled to take place on August 7 at Skanderbeg Square in Pristina.

Calling it a “Protest Against Injustice,” Lladrovci emphasized that citizens from all political affiliations and beliefs will gather in defense of the values of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), which, he insists, conducted a just war in accordance with international norms.

“The Kosovo Liberation Army carried out a legitimate and righteous struggle. We have no heroes to lose,” he stated.

To facilitate participation, Lladrovci confirmed that five buses have already been reserved to transport citizens from Drenas to Pristina for the protest. He also noted that additional transport could be arranged if necessary.
