Journalist Baton Haxhiu shared early insights from exit polls during Kosovo’s ongoing local elections, predicting surprises in several municipalities.
According to Haxhiu:
- Two municipalities are expected to secure victories without a runoff, as the current exit poll results show a sufficient lead.
- Mitrovica e Jugut (South Mitrovica) is highlighted as a municipality likely to surprise everyone with its outcome.
- Prishtina is described as an exceptionally close race, with results uncertain until the final votes are counted.
- Three other municipalities are very close to avoiding runoffs, with percentages ranging from 47.8% to 49.2%, making their final results unpredictable until the end.
Haxhiu noted that the full exit poll results will be published tonight at 19:00 on Pressing, T7.
