The Central Election Commission (CEC) has started publishing the first results for the municipal elections.

According to the CEC, voter turnout was 39.07%, with CEC Chair Kreshnik Radoniqi reporting that as of 19:00, 791,123 citizens (39.37%) had voted.
He also announced that in some polling stations, the counting of votes for mayoral candidates has already begun.
For comparison, turnout in the previous elections was 43%.
