The President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, has included Kosovo’s national football team among the nations that are excelling and making progress toward qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
On his official Instagram account, Infantino shared several photos of national teams that achieved notable results this month — including Kosovo, which celebrated a major victory in its recent qualifying matches.
“European teams have delighted fans across the continent during the latest FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying matches, as the race to reach Canada, Mexico, and the United States becomes even more exciting!” wrote Infantino.
