Under the motto “Building an inclusive society for persons with disabilities to advance social development,” the Ministry of Health today marked the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

On this occasion, the Ministry reaffirmed that health and dignity are fundamental rights for everyone.

“The Ministry of Health continues to expand services, provide assistive devices for persons with disabilities, and improve conditions in public health institutions. Investments in new services, advanced equipment, and modern, accessible infrastructure for every social category reflect our commitment to a more inclusive system,” the Ministry stated.

The Ministry added that, together with healthcare professionals, institutional partners, and organizations working daily with the community, they aim to create an environment where every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and equal care.

“On this day, we call on all relevant stakeholders to unite in promoting inclusion, equality, and continuous support for persons with disabilities, because a fairer society can only be built when no one is left behind,” the Ministry declared.
