Anti-Corruption Operation: Special Prosecutor’s Office Seizes Around €20,000 in Cash

Under the leadership of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo, a large-scale police operation was carried out in the Pristina region, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals suspected of criminal offenses, including corruption, abuse of official duty, giving and receiving bribes, exerting undue influence, fraud, and illegal possession of weapons.

Following the arrests, the Special Prosecutor’s Office ordered that the seven suspects be detained for 48 hours while investigations continue, according to Sinjali.

During the operation, approximately €20,000 in cash, weapons, jewelry, various documents, and electronic devices were seized.

Investigations are ongoing and are being conducted in close coordination between the Kosovo Police and the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo.
