KESCO has informed the public that it has taken all necessary measures to ensure a stable electricity supply for consumers throughout the year-end holidays and on New Year’s Eve, in line with the current conditions of the power system and consumption levels.
Considering the increased electricity demand during this period, KESCO, as the electricity supplier, remains in constant contact and coordination with technical operators—namely the distribution and transmission system operators—to timely manage any potential situations and address possible network overloads, particularly during peak hours on the night of the New Year.
At the same time, in order to remain close to consumers during tonight’s peak period, KESCO has increased the capacities of its Call Center by engaging additional staff to provide prompt responses and timely information regarding any issues related to electricity supply.
KESCO calls on all consumers to exercise increased caution and to save electricity wherever possible, especially during peak hours. Rational and responsible use of electricity directly contributes to system stability and ensures secure supply for all consumers.
KESCO thanks consumers for their understanding and continued cooperation, once again appealing for electricity to be used responsibly and rationally during this period of heightened consumption.
