EU Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav, together with EU ambassadors and heads of EU missions in Kosovo, met with Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti to discuss priorities and perspectives for 2026.
In a statement, the EU mission praised Kosovo’s recent elections as a reflection of a strong commitment to democratic principles and stressed the importance of the swift formation of government institutions.
Orav also highlighted the need for the quick ratification of agreements linked to the Growth Plan, emphasizing that these measures would bring direct benefits to the people of Kosovo.
Additionally, the ambassador underlined that the EU-facilitated dialogue for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations remains essential for Kosovo’s European integration path.
“The formation of institutions and the implementation of Growth Plan agreements are key steps toward economic development and European progress,” the statement said.
