Sorensen Meets KFOR Commander During Visit to Prishtina

EU envoy for the Kosovo–Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, visited Kosovo on Wednesday in his first trip since the December 28 elections. During his visit, he met with KFOR Commander Major General Ozkan Ulutash.

According to NATO, the discussions focused on KFOR’s cooperation with the EU, including support for the EU-facilitated dialogue and the normalization of relations between Prishtina and Belgrade, which is key for lasting security in Kosovo and regional stability.

“Major General Ulutash highlighted KFOR’s continued collaboration with the EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) and support for the EU-facilitated dialogue to normalize relations between Prishtina and Belgrade, which is crucial for regional security and stability,” the statement reads.
