During her visit to the United Arab Emirates, President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met with Swiss President Guy Parmelin as part of the World Governance Summit.
President Osmani highlighted the close and friendly relations between Kosovo and Switzerland in a social media post, referring to Parmelin as “a great friend of the people of Kosovo.”
The discussion focused on concrete steps to deepen bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on the role of the Kosovar diaspora in Switzerland.
“Following Davos, we continued discussions on practical steps to strengthen cooperation between our countries, with our diaspora serving as a key bridge in this partnership,” Osmani said.
President Osmani concluded by reiterating Kosovo’s gratitude for Switzerland’s unwavering support over the years.
“Kosovo remains deeply grateful for Switzerland’s steadfast support throughout the years,” she added.
