Rasim Demiri from the Vakat coalition expressed readiness to assist in forming the new government after a meeting with acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Demiri emphasized that both sides are willing to work together to form the Government of Kosovo.
Regarding the Reçane Municipality, Demiri said that if it is established, he is ready to run as mayor, as he is from the region. He clarified that the creation of the municipality was once a condition for government formation but is now only a request, describing this shift as manipulation of the people in that area.
Demiri firmly stated, “It cannot be a condition” when asked if the municipality’s formation was a prerequisite for joining the coalition with Kurti.
