A large number of Kosovo diaspora travelers have reportedly been stranded at the Bajakovo–Lipovac border crossing between Croatia and Serbia since 2:00 a.m., unable to continue their journey.

A traveler at the scene said authorities are not allowing vehicles to proceed, while long queues have left hundreds waiting for hours.

According to him, many travelers have run out of food and drinking water. Among those affected are families with children, who are facing increasingly difficult conditions due to the high temperatures and prolonged delays.

So far, authorities have not issued an official statement explaining the reason for the disruption or when traffic is expected to return to normal. Meanwhile, stranded travelers are calling for a swift resolution and are urging the relevant institutions to intervene.

The Embassy of Kosovo in Croatia as well as Croatia’s Ministry of the Interior was contacted, seeking clarification regarding the situation faced by the stranded travelers.
