Lisian Thaqi, a 16-year-old midfielder from Peja, has been invited by the German giant, Bayern Munich, to join their prestigious project, Bayern World Squad.

Out of this project, around 6,000 footballers from around the world, only the top 30 have earned the opportunity to be part of this elite group – and Lisian, from Peja, is one of them. This historic moment makes him the first footballer from Kosovo to be accepted into this major organization.

Lisian is a player for KF Peja and part of the Kosovo U16 national team. He is known for his elegant playing style, ball control, and extraordinary vision, and has even been considered the new Zinedine Zidane of Kosovar football, according to Telegrafi.

This success is a testament to the fact that Kosovo is nurturing a golden generation of footballers, who, if given more recognition by local clubs, could break through onto the international stage much earlier. Unfortunately, clubs in Kosovo still do not provide enough opportunities for these talents.

Bayern Munich is known for discovering young talents, and Lisian could be the next diamond in their ranks.
Lisian Thaqi has one month to convince the Bavarians to continue his career with their team.
