The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development has announced that it has taken over the management of approximately 200,000 hectares of forest land through an agreement signed with the Kosovo Privatization Agency (KPA).
The ministry stated that the agreement was signed today and that the transfer includes around 200,000 hectares of forest properties spread across 3,015 parcels, which until now were under the administration of the KPA.
According to the statement, this area represents approximately 21% of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, making it one of the largest transfers of public assets in the forestry and environmental sector.
