Kosovo’s Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, announced that the 100-euro bonuses for children under 16 years old and pension beneficiaries have been processed. Additionally, the salaries for public sector employees have been executed.
According to Murati, the total value of these payments amounted to 140 million euros.
“After a marathon effort by the Ministry of Finance staff, today we have processed transfers for: salaries for public employees, a one-time 100-euro bonus for children aged 0-16 who receive allowances, and a one-time 100-euro bonus for all pension beneficiaries, including those from war veterans’ categories. Over 400,000 children, about 300,000 pensioners, and over 83,000 public employees are benefiting. In total, 140 million euros in one day,” he posted on Facebook.
While the transfers have been executed, the availability of funds in bank accounts will vary depending on the bank, with some recipients receiving funds earlier than others.
