Before the final results were officially declared, President Vjosa Osmani congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in yesterday’s elections.
Osmani stated that the United States remains Kosovo’s unwavering partner and indispensable ally, adding that she looks forward to working with the new administration to deepen the alliance, as reported by RKS.NEWS.
“On behalf of the people of the Republic of Kosovo, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to @realDonaldTrump and @JDVance on their election as President and Vice President of the United States. The U.S. remains Kosovo’s steadfast partner and indispensable ally. I look forward to working with the new administration to further strengthen our unique bond and strategic alliance. God bless America, the leader of the free world! 🇽🇰🇺🇸,” Osmani wrote on her account on the platform “X.”
Meanwhile, Trump is edging closer to victory, having secured 267 of the 270 electoral votes needed to be declared president.
