Kosovo recorded the highest annual consumer price inflation rate in the Balkans in June, according to a regional overview published by Kos Data.
The data show that Kosovo’s annual inflation rate reached 6.0%, placing the country at the top of the regional rankings for consumer price growth.
Kosovo was followed by Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, both with an inflation rate of 5.6%. Croatia recorded 4.5%, while Greece posted 4.4%.
Elsewhere in the region, Montenegro registered an inflation rate of 3.6%, North Macedonia 3.4%, and Albania 3.2%. Serbia recorded the lowest inflation rate in the Balkans during the same period, at 2.7%.
