Russia’s attacks on Ukraine continue, with five people reported dead following airstrikes on Friday evening. The southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia was hit more than 10 times, killing two and injuring nine, including a nine-month-old baby and a woman in critical condition.

Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov shared the grim news on Telegram, stating that the strikes caused severe damage, with photos online showing rescue teams searching through the rubble. Damaged buildings had broken windows and facades, while fires ignited amid the debris.

Meanwhile, two more deaths were reported in the Sumy region, located on Ukraine’s northern border with Russia. Russian forces dropped at least six bombs on the village of Krasnopillia. In the eastern Donetsk region, three bombs were dropped on Kostiantynivka near the frontline, killing one person.

The ongoing violence continues to devastate Ukraine, leaving both civilian casualties and widespread destruction in its wake.
