The Kosovo Police have reported a suspected explosive device on Gucia Street in Pristina.
The information was confirmed to RKS News by the police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Enis Pllana, who said that residents were evacuated from the area to ensure their safety.
He stated that the relevant police units were immediately deployed to the scene to handle the incident, while teams from the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) also responded and carried out their respective procedures.
“At around 9:00 a.m., the police received information about a suspected explosive device on Gucia Street in Pristina. Immediately after receiving the report, the police implemented all necessary security measures by securing the perimeter and evacuating residents from the area to ensure their safety. Relevant police units were deployed to the scene to manage the case, while Kosovo Security Force teams also responded and undertook their respective actions,” Pllana said.
