The head of the EU Office, Tomas Szunyog, has indicated that they received a letter from a group of citizens who received deportation orders at the end of May and asked for help from the EU Office and EULEX.
Szunyog has said that he has expressed his willingness to ease the situation through an information session at the Agency for Property Comparison and Verification for the people affected by the decisions.
“This session would provide an opportunity to discuss individual cases and identify appropriate solutions for affected residents,” Suzynyog wrote.
The Head of the EU Office has said that as long as the cases have been judged with final decisions that are binding and legally enforceable, his team will ensure that each case is handled in accordance with European standards so that everyone those interested to be provided with concrete housing solutions.
