Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, met today with Jordan’s newly appointed non-resident ambassador, Hazem Issam El-Khatib Al-Tamimi, accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Kreshnik Ahmeti.
According to a government statement, Kurti welcomed the ambassador and expressed appreciation for the strengthening relations between Kosovo and Jordan.
“He informed the ambassador about Kosovo’s economic progress, the redistribution of economic growth toward citizens, and various other achievements. He also addressed the ongoing security challenges posed by Kosovo’s northern neighbor, including continuous attacks against the state,” the statement read.
During the meeting, Kurti also announced Kosovo’s decision to allocate €500,000 in humanitarian aid to assist the Palestinian people in Gaza, which was approved during the 247th government meeting today.
