The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting with her Belarusian counterpart, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, on the sidelines of the European Political Community (EPC) Summit.
President Tsikhanouskaya expressed gratitude for the meeting, stating that “Kosovars know what it means to fight for freedom and dignity.” She emphasized discussions on supporting exiled journalists resisting regime propaganda, as well as initiatives aimed at assisting the Belarusian people.
President Osmani reshared Tsikhanouskaya’s remarks, reaffirming Kosovo’s unwavering support:
“Kosovo will always stand by the people of Belarus in their aspiration to live in freedom and dignity — without oppression and fear. We will continue to work with democratic partners to ensure their voices are heard,” she wrote on X.
