Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has once again urged voters in the Preševo Valley to turn out for the elections and vote for the Albanian Coalition, listed as number 17 on the ballot.

He emphasised that every vote carries weight in strengthening political representation and shaping the future of Albanians in the Preševo Valley.

“Today, the unity represented by the Albanian Coalition calls for your participation. Resistance to discrimination and commitment to equality draw strength from the will you express at the ballot box. Go out and vote. Encourage your family members and friends to exercise this right as well. Support the Albanian Coalition, number 17, for a stronger voice and for the opportunity for everyone to build their lives in their homeland,” Kurti said.

Eight Albanian political parties from Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa are contesting Serbia’s early parliamentary elections today on the joint Albanian Coalition list.

After years of divisions and rivalry, the parties united with the mediation of Prime Minister Albin Kurti. They aim to secure three seats in parliament, compared with the single seat held by the Albanian community during the previous parliamentary term.
