Three explosions have been reported in Konarak, southern Iran, in the Sistan and Baluchestan province, where a strategic port is located along the Gulf of Oman.

The explosions come amid a new wave of attacks targeting several locations across Iran, including sites in the south of the country such as airports, logistics networks, and the Bushehr nuclear reactor.

Meanwhile, civilian infrastructure, including railway lines, has also reportedly been targeted in northern Iran.

The attacks followed threats by U.S. President Donald Trump to increase pressure on Iranian officials in an effort to bring them back to the negotiating table. However, Iranian officials have stated that they will not yield to pressure from the United States.

Earlier, attacks were also reported in the city of Ahvaz, in Iran’s southern Khuzestan province.

These developments also coincide with the funeral ceremony of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who, according to the reports referenced in the source text, was killed by the United States and Israel in February.
