The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, met with Major General Stephen E. Osborn, Adjutant General of the Iowa National Guard, to discuss security developments and further cooperation between the two forces.
During the meeting, Jashari thanked Osborn for his visit and highlighted the importance of the longstanding partnership between the FSK and the Iowa National Guard in strengthening the Kosovo force’s professional and operational capabilities.
The two officials discussed ongoing cooperation, joint projects and activities, as well as opportunities to further advance the partnership between the FSK and the Iowa National Guard.
They also exchanged views on current security developments and the importance of continued cooperation among partner forces.
As part of his visit, Major General Osborn also toured the FSK’s Special Operations Unit, where he was briefed on its capabilities, development and ongoing activities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Jashari expressed his appreciation to Osborn and the Iowa National Guard for their continued support and cooperation, emphasizing the partnership built over the years and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in support of peace and security.
