The Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, has said that the person responsible for the terrorist attack in Banjska, Milan Radoicic, must be held accountable.

Rohde has emphasized that Germany has made this clear, and if he does not give an account in Serbia, this will present a problem in the relations between Germany and Serbia

The German ambassador said that the extradition of Radoicic to Kosovo is difficult.

“The self-declared leader of this group, Radoicic, is still on the run. We have said, we have repeated, that he must be held accountable. He is assigned to many places, where he is held responsible. It is clearly very unrealistic to extradite him, but my government has made it clear, since he is in Serbia, he must give an account there, and until this is done, we have a problem in the relationship with Serbia. But Serbia remains to do this, and our expectations are clear”, said Rohde on TV 1.

Rohde mentioned the increase of NATO troops in Kosovo, including a contingent from Germany after this attack as an indication of KFOR to maintain security.

He said that with all this NATO force in Kosovo, he does not imagine an attack from Serbia.

“I am not a military expert, but I know that 28 countries from NATO and friendly countries are part of KFOR, and it is unimaginable for me that there could be any attack in Kosovo with this international presence”, he said.
