Two key Senate committees are expected to meet after President Donald Trump’s inauguration to vote on the respective nominations of Marco Rubio for Secretary of State and Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense, reports CNN.
First, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will meet in the Capitol to vote on Rubio’s nomination for Secretary of State.
Next, the Senate Armed Services Committee will convene and vote on Hegseth’s nomination for Secretary of Defense.
