KFOR Commander Meets Kosovo President: Focus on Security and Cooperation

NATO-led KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barduani hosted Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani at the Film City base in Prishtina to discuss the current security situation and ongoing cooperation between KFOR and Kosovo institutions.

Commitment to Security

During the meeting, General Barduani emphasized KFOR’s unwavering commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo, regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion, or political affiliation.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate under UN Security Council Resolution 1244, contributing to a secure and peaceful environment while ensuring freedom of movement in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX,” KFOR stated in its announcement.
