Kosovo Security Force Receives Shooting Range from EUCOM

Gjakova, Kosovo – The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has officially received a state-of-the-art shooting range in Babaj i Bokës, Gjakova, as a donation from the United States European Command (EUCOM). This initiative highlights the close cooperation between the KSF and the U.S. military.

According to the announcement, the shooting range, equipped with modern technology and licensed for use, has successfully passed all required inspections and tests, ensuring safe conditions for firearms training activities.

Strengthened Collaboration with the U.S.

The KSF stated that this project represents a strong testament to the strategic partnership and support provided by the U.S. military in advancing the security and defense capabilities of Kosovo’s armed forces.

As part of the broader Ministry of Defense objectives, the KSF Engineering Regiment has been actively working on infrastructure projects around the range, including:

  • Opening access roads.
  • Constructing bridges.
  • Developing additional facilities to support the range.

These investments are set to continue, with ongoing support from EUCOM and the U.S. Army for Europe and Africa, coordinated through the Defense Cooperation Office of the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo.

A Resource for Advanced Training

The shooting range will serve as a critical training hub for:

  • KSF personnel.
  • U.S. forces operating in the region.

The range ensures both Kosovan and American forces are well-prepared to address modern security challenges.
