The Serbian nationalist slogan, “When the army returns to Kosovo,” was discovered at the entrance of the Kosovo Embassy in Oslo, Norway.
This act has been strongly condemned by the Kosovo Embassy, which labeled it a direct threat to Kosovo.
In a Facebook statement, the embassy expressed deep concern over the alarming message, describing it as a violation of international norms and a direct affront to the Republic of Kosovo and its diplomatic staff.
“Deeply concerned by the alarming image and nationalist Serbian slogan placed at the entrance of our embassy in Oslo. This act is a direct threat to the Republic of Kosovo, the embassy staff, and violates international norms while undermining principles of diplomacy and mutual respect,” the statement read.
Such graffiti has also been observed for years on streets in North Mitrovica and other northern municipalities of Kosovo.
