The Government of Kosovo has allocated 100 hectares of land for use by the Ministry of Defense to enhance the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).

This decision was made during the government meeting, where it was emphasized that the land is located in Batllava, Podujeva, and is owned by the Kosovo Forest Agency.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that with the increase in capacities and improved conditions, the Kosovo Army is becoming stronger.

“We are growing and strengthening our army, with more dignity, better conditions, more budget, and more armament being added to the Kosovo Security Force… today, on the day of the fall of the hero Zahir Pajaziti, we will make the decision to allocate the land in Batllava for the use of the Ministry of Defense and the KSF. The properties of the Kosovo Forest Agency, specifically the public property in Batllava, with an area of 100 hectares, will be used to enhance the operational capacities of our army,” said Kurti.

Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, stated that the properties allocated for use are from the Kosovo Forest Agency and will help in achieving the long-term investment goals of the KSF.
